D’yan Lang
Project Overview
This project was created for a Filipino food and travel blogger who shares his experiences visiting resorts, discovering local destinations, and trying different types of food throughout the Philippines. His blog also aims to introduce readers to lesser-known places that may not typically appear on popular travel guides.
The Goal
The client wanted a blog website that reflected his personal style while providing a simple and enjoyable way for readers to explore his travel stories, resort experiences, and food discoveries.
He drew inspiration from another blogger’s website and identified several features and design elements that he liked. Rather than copying the existing website, we discussed which ideas could be adapted and incorporated into his own site while maintaining a distinct design and staying within the agreed project scope.
Design & Development
I designed and developed the website around the client’s blogging needs and content. The focus was on creating a clean, organized layout that made articles, photographs, destinations, and food experiences easy to browse.
Selected features inspired by the client’s references were adapted to fit the overall design and functionality of the website. The result was a personalized food and travel blog that provided the client with a platform to document his experiences and share destinations and local discoveries with his readers.
